Experimenting With Stickybits.

                                                              

The #Coolthingspeopledowithstickybits list is coming along nicely! Today’s addition is a project called “Random Thoughts & Observations,” a brainchild of Creative Director Heather Grimstead from DC. 

Heather is sending 1000 cards with barcodes (shown above) around the world as a social media experiment. The cards ask people to scan the code and add a comment, post a photo, or say “hi” to the world. The team working on the project intends to leave the cards in all sorts of places; everywhere from nightclubs to subway stations. To read more about the project, click here. 

We really like the idea of a sort of global inner monologue happening on these barcodes. With so many out there, tons of people will have the chance to scan and leave their random thoughts.
